Re: Studio Installation at John
O'Gaunt Community Technology College, Berkshire I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the installation of my recording suite at John O'Gaunt. From start to finish the process has been smooth. Your quote was competitive, delivery was on time, problems were quickly resolved (faulty new equipment) and your training day was professionally fulfilled. I am happy to report that things are working well and students are already benefiting. I would be happy to be a referee for other schools or establishments should you wish to give my name. Yours sincerely Dave Howells Head of Music Visit John O'Gaunt at www.jog.westberks.org |

Re: Live Sound Productions at The Petersfield
School, Hampshire I would like to take this opportunity to say how professional and competent Faribisch Sound and Recording have been during their time working at The Petersfield School Performing Arts College. They have now provided 'sound' for our last two major Performing Arts Events - Back to the 80's and the Autumn Spectacular with future plans in the pipeline. Barry and his team have been incredibly flexible and understand that in an educational establishment they have to work around the school set up. This has always been built into plans. Meeting arrangements have always been punctual. The high standard of equipment that Faribisch provides is always set up in good time to enable any necessary modifications during technical rehearsals. During technical rehearsals with the children both Barry and other members of Faribisch have explained techniques and improvements with students to ensure the best performance. Their manner has been kind and patient. They have also provided explanations of 'behind the desk' to interested parties. After show clear up has always been quick and efficient. I would not hesitate in recommending Faribisch Sound and Recording to other educational establishments. Re: Recording Studio at The Petersfield School,
Hampshire Over the last term I have been working closely with Barry Fisher of Faribisch Sound and Recording Services to set up a ‘Recording Studio’ within the music department. With a limited budget Barry put together a proposal for the necessary equipment needed to set up a basic studio. All equipment has been chosen for quality and necessity for a basic set up and includes condenser microphones, drum microphones, Digital Audio Interface, Mixing Desk, cabling solutions and PC specifications. Although there are space constraints within the music block a workable solution has been reached to make best use of the rooms available. Flexible hours from Faribisch enabled the studio to be set up during the school holiday with staff training tailored around the school day. Barry has recently spent a whole day working with GCSE pupils improving their recording knowledge. Informative posters have been produced and a direct email contact can be made between pupils and Faribisch with any questions. Feedback from the pupils is certainly very positive. The installation of the studio has certainly improved motivation among the GCSE group especially with the boys. It has also given them an insight into areas of ‘Music Technology A Level’ which a number of them wish to pursue. Pupils are now able to create quality recordings for their GCSE work and burn the results straight onto CD for submission. As the Performing Arts College grows the usage of the studio in both curriculum and community is set to expand. We hope that Faribisch will work with us on improvements at all stages of studio development. Reading Harmony Barbershop Club Reading Barbershop Harmony Club have been extremely impressed with our new CD, recorded by Faribisch. Barry came along to our rehearsal room and set up all the equipment. The recording went without a (technical) hitch, just those you expect when recording amateur choirs. He was able to contribute on the night to help us get a better recorded sound. He also advised on the artwork format and was able to take our design and ensure that it fitted the CD casing. From beginning to the end, Barry kept us informed of the progress of the CD even when we it took longer than expected due to copyright issues. We'd have no problems recommending any other choirs to use his services. Visit The Reading Barbershop Harmony Club at www.rbhc.org.uk |

Portsmouth Choral Union The Portsmouth Choral Union used Faribisch Recording Services to produce its first CD called Choral Classics at the Cathedral. The preparatory work to set-up and record went well, followed by a smooth production process through to the final CD. PCU established a good working relationship with Barry Fisher and his responses were prompt. From a live recording Faribisch produced a professional result for the choir.
